Tips
|
|
|
To
help prevent damage to growing trees, adjust your Hug 'N'
Hanger once a year. Simply remove it from the tree, and then
put it back on.
Paint
or stain your Hug 'N' Hanger if it is exposed to the elements,
especially if it gets wet often. This will help prevent premature
deterioration of the wood.
If you don't paint your hanger, apply a good waterproofing
material to it annually.
Avoid bending your Hug 'N' Hangers around
a 90 degree corner. Although the Hug 'N' Hanger is quite flexible,
it can be broken. It is normal for cracks to appear in the
surface of the hanger as you bend it into a circle. This does
not mean there is a problem with your hanger. When the cracks
begin appearing, do not bend the device any further.
Do not hang more than 10 pounds from a Hug 'N' Hanger peg
hook. The hanger will break if you put too much weight on
a hook. |

Frequently
Asked Questions
|
|
|
1.
Can I get a longer or shorter Hug 'N' Hanger?
At this time we make only the
16" model. However, we will expand the selection
of available hangers based on feedback from customers.
So please fill out our feedback
form so we know what you would like.
2. Can I get straps in colors
other than black? At this time we make only
the black straps. However, we will expand the selection of
available straps based on feedback from customers. So please
fill out our feedback form so we
know what you would like.
3. Do I have to paint my Hug'N'Hanger?
No, your Hug 'N' Hanger will last for years even if you
don't paint it or water proof it. However, water proofing
or painting will extend the life of your hanger.
4. My hanger is too long to fit the
object I want to put it on. The Hug 'N' Hanger
can be made to fit smaller circumferences by adding some padding
under the hanger, which effectively increases the diameter
the hanger must go around.
5.
My hanger is too short to fit the object I want to put it
on. The Hug 'N' Hanger can be connected to other
Hug 'N' Hangers to fit larger objects. Simply use a cable
tie in the anchor holes to secure two hangers together.
Also, we offer a extra cable ties for sale. You can connect
cable ties together to make a strap of any length you need.
6. I see a lot of cracks on my
hanger. What's wrong with it? Surface cracks
on the Hug 'N' Hanger are completely normal. Remember, this
is a wood product, and wood does not typically bend so much.
You'll notice that the wooden portion of the hanger is composed
of 3 layers, and the cracks only apear in the first layer.
So long as you do not stress the wood by bending it too
far, the cracks will not hurt anything.
7. Can I get a different peg hook?
We plan to add a variety of peg hooks in the future. Please
use our feedback form to let
us know what type of hook you would like.
8. I like Hug 'N' Hangers so much,
I want to sell them. How can I do that? Apply to
be a Hug 'N' Hanger partner,
or to be part of our resellers program.
9. I have a lot of extra strap
on my Hug 'N' Hanger. Can I cut it off? Yes, but
first try using a pin or paper clip to secure the excess
strap. You may need the extra strap length at a later time.
10. Will Hug 'N' Hangers work on square
or rectangular posts? The hanger cannot bend at a
90 degree angle without breaking. However, the straps can
do this easily. So long as the straps, and not the hanger,
go around the 90 degree corners, you can use Hug 'N' Hangers
on cornered objects.
